Registered Nurse (RN) GI GU Surgical Unit Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better+Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full Time, (3) 12 hour shifts 6:45a-7:15p - Rotating Weekends/Holidays; Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations. Department highlights: · Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · The unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. · The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of post op patients including: complex gastro-intestinal, urology and colorectal surgeries with an average length of stay of approximately five days. · Opportunity to work on a brand- new unit in the beautiful Justin Tower · MAGNET facility · Level I Trauma Center
