HOSPITALIST NURSE PRACTITIONER OPENING Dallas (Kaufman), TEXAS Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Hospitalist opening for a full-time opportunity in Kaufman, TX. Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients. POSITION DETAILS: Ø Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s & follow-up visits. Ø Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses. Ø Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissions Ø Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patients Ø Document using EMR system. Ø Participate in continuous quality improvement processes. IF YOU: Ø Enjoy working Night Shift 3pm-3am Ø Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision making Ø Texas licensed Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Ø ACLS certification Ø 2 years of NP or RN experience in ICU/CVICU required.
