Job Title: MEP Project Manager Location: Portugal Salary: Competitive salary and package (Depending on level of experience) Career Level: ML7 Soben, part of Accenture, is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our growing Data Centre team in Portugal. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale hyperscale and colocation data centre programmes across Portugal and Europe, supporting some of the world's most recognised technology and cloud providers. You will play a key role in the delivery of mission-critical facilities, leading Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) packages from design and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in data centre delivery alongside mechanical or electrical engineering expertise, enabling them to successfully manage complex technical projects in fast-paced environments. Key Responcibilities As an MEP Project Manager, you will: Lead the successful delivery of MEP works across large-scale data centre developments. Manage projects from early design stages through construction, commissioning, and operational handover. Serve as the primary interface between clients, contractors, consultants, and specialist vendors. Drive programme, cost, quality, safety, and performance objectives throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate multidisciplinary design and construction teams to ensure project objectives are achieved. Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. Oversee risk management, change control, project governance, and stakeholder reporting. Support procurement, tendering, and contractor appointment processes. Manage testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and handover activities. Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and operational readiness are maintained. Develop and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business growth across the Portuguese and wider European markets.
