About this role
KPMG is currently seeking an Actuarial P&C Senior Associate to join our Audit practice. Responsibilities: Provide technical support on loss reserving, ratemaking, and modeling for commercial lines, personal lines, and reinsurance projects Deliver audit support functions and advisory projects Assist with project planning, development of deliverables, and other technical writing exercises Program and manipulate database applications used in support of experience studies and other data management functions Supervise and serve as a mentor to associates, new hires, and interns on engagements Serve as a liaison between clients and upper management Identify and communicate technical matters to both clients and upper management Qualifications: Minimum three year of recent experience in the actuarial property and casualty area Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and passed two actuarial exams Strong academic background in actuarial science, applied statistics, financial analysis, insurance, and mathematics Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize work without intensive direction from supervisors Strong working knowledge of actuarial software and database software such as Microsoft Excel and Access Certification as an associate of the Society of Actuaries/Casualty Actuarial Society is preferred Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
