This hands-on role focuses on designing, developing, and managing development and test environments, tools, and hardware emulators to support software integration within a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with software developers and test engineers to design and maintain development and test environments. Design, develop, and maintain test tools, hardware emulators, and simulators. Develop utilities and automation solutions to support testing activities. Manage software build, integration, and release processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and test environments. Qualifications Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline and nine (9) or more years of relevant professional experience; Additional six (6) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle). Clearance Requirements Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance. Active Secret security clearance preferred. ship required. Required Qualifications Experience working in Linux environments. Proficiency in Linux programming and/or shell scripting. Experience developing automated test solutions. Experience with virtual machines and virtualization technologies. Experience designing and developing test tools, emulators, and simulators. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired Qualifications Experience estimating project scope, effort, and schedules. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. Experience supporting custom Linux operating systems. Knowledge of operating system configuration and management. Experience implementing Information Assurance (IA) requirements. Experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). Target salary range: $100,001 - $140,000.
