Title: Jira Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Administrator Location: Hybrid New York, NY (Locals Only) Employment Type: 12 Months contract Required Qualifications Proven, hands-on experience as a Jira Administrator or Jira SME (several years minimum) Deep expertise in Jira configuration: workflows, schemes, custom fields, automation, and permissions Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and how they map to Jira Experience mapping and optimizing business processes within Jira Familiarity with Jira integrations (e.g., Confluence, Slack, other internal systems/APIs) Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders across departments Preferred Qualifications Jira/Atlassian certification(s) Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) Experience with scripting/automation tools (e.g., ScriptRunner) Prior experience supporting enterprise-scale Jira instances Work Arrangement This is a hybrid position based in New York City, requiring regular in-office presence combined with remote flexibility.
